" Once upon a time " finally returned from its recess midseason Sunday (March 9 ) , and thus became the Fairtytale Land, New York City , and even a Storybrooke mysteriously reappeared , which Zap2it went straight to the showrunners to get some answers .
Creators " Ouat " Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz revealed the secret of what lies ahead for all of our favorite characters and new villains that occurred in the final moments of "New York City Serenade" . Read on for all the scoop below:
Wicked is not coming ... it's here
While our favorite characters have no idea what awaits them back in the fairytale land , the public has an idea of the wicked witch , and she was positively glowing with enthusiasm for what he has planned . "Revenge enact she wants is exactly what will go into the next episode , " Horowitz reveals .
Kitsis elaborates, " When we learn more about the Wicked Witch and her backstory and what happened , we understand that you have against Regina is a kind of a global problem and an internal problem. But I think we can tease those two are definitely going to get into it . "
The Wicked Witch 's going to be this villain through the season, so get used to seeing green. "We are very excited about this second half ," says Kitsis . " We're going to flash back to the year that was , so that each episode we are downloading this mystery of what happened and we cursed and who is this crazy woman green and about the history of its origin will get into that. We 'll actually show that in episode 16 , entitled , "It's not easy being green . '"
What can our residents Storybrooke / Fairytale Land expect from the Wicked Witch ? "What she has planned , she has some things that are distasteful, but does so with style , " Kitsis joked .
The mission of Hook
Everyone's favorite pirate has made it his mission to bring back to Storybrooke Emma , and now he remembers his past, he is well on his way to succeed . "We will learn a lot more about what happened in that intervening year Hook and led to him getting the message, " Horowitz reveals .
And that includes the introduction of another pirate , Blackbeard , who may not have the best relationship with hook. " He is not much shower. He is a pirate through and through ," says Horowitz. "He and Captain Hook does not have much love for each other . And all two pirates fight again, even a woman would be a boat. "
The fate of Rumpelstiltskin
So Rumpel really dead? The creators are not saying.
" [ You do ] in the next episode ," says Horowitz.
Storybook Henry
After being MIA for a while, storybook Henry made an appearance in the episode, although he still thinks fairy tales are made to believe. "Let's see the storybook . Shall enter into play in the second half of the season," revealed Kitsis . " Who wrote it not be answered yet. "
Horowitz agrees. "I would say we're going to spend more time with the storybook season and explore more," says Horowitz. " And we hope to continue to explore ."
Romance for Regina
Now that Regina has met his true love hapless Robin Hood in Fairytale Land, sparks will start flying ? "Whether true love happened or is resolved or not, will be a very interesting way traveling together," says Horowitz.
Kitsis continues: " She's going to see that tattoo [ Tinkerbell warned about Robin Hood ] and it will certainly have an effect on her. "
Snow White 's family
From a young version of Snow White's father has been released , many fans have been wondering how it will fit into the story. "We will see some of the White family, the early years ," says Horowitz. "We will see a bit of King Leopold , when we were younger and we will see how there were some interactions between him and some of the other characters that you may or may not have expected. We also learn a little more Mother's snow. "
And as for Mary Margaret bun in the oven , do not expect a question of paternity. "Who 's the father? " Horowitz asks playfully.
" It's lovely , " Kitsis answered definitively . " But that said, there is much to discover about what happened in the intervening year . "
